Leslie received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health and Science Center in New Orleans, LA. She has worked as an operations coordinator in the gastrointestinal and surgical step-down units at Ochsner Medical Center as well as served as a staff registered nurse for over two years.
