Dr. Kristen M. Rogers is a Louisiana native who graduated cum laude from Tulane University, where she studied cell and molecular biology as well as English literature. She went on to complete her Masters in Public Health in International Health & Development at the Tulane School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. She received her medical degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following this, she completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Rogers is board-certified in internal medicine. She is currently practicing at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans in the department of hospital medicine, where she is also the associate program director for the internal medicine residency program and coordinates the pre-medical student shadowing program. She has a special interest in education for both medical students and residents.
