A Louisiana native, Dr. David Donaldson earned his medical degree at LSU Medical School - Shreveport in 1980. He completed an internal medicine internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center - Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and then served in the US Air Force as a family physician until 1986.
Dr. Donaldson performed his residency in diagnostic radiology at LSU Medical Center- Charity Hospital of New Orleans and was board certified in 1990. He has practiced since 1990 in Slidell at North Shore Regional Medical Center which became Ochsner Medical Center North Shore in 2010.
Dr. Donaldson joined Ochsner in 2010.
