Ashlie Martinez graduated in 2011 with a masters degree in social work from Abilene Christen University. Prior to her graduate studies, Ashlie also obtained an undergraduate degree in social work from Hardin Simons University. Ashlie is board certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Workers. Ms. Martinez has served on Ochsner's staff since 2013 where she worked as a Lung transplant Social Worker. Ms. Martinez made her move to Ochsner Psychiatry in the summer of 2020. Ashlie holds expertise in patients suffering with Chronic Illnesses, patients diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, patients experiencing the pre, current, and post transplant process, Grief and loss, Mindfulness, and Anxiety/OCD. In her spare time, Ashlie enjoys meditation.
