Melissa received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to joining Ochsner, she completed several clinical rotations in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic Medicine, Behavioral Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Women's Medicine. Melissa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
