Dr. Germond earned her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico. She completed her internship at Frankford Hospitals of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and residency in Anesthesia at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University New York, New York. She completed a fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesia also at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University New York, New York. She is board certified in anesthesiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2013.
