Dr. Kirk Rossiter received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans in 1997. He had the privilege of working with the neuroscience department where he published numerous scientific papers with a focus on the brain and obesity. Dr. Rossiter went on to earn his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. After completing an internship in general surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center he joined the Ochsner department of anesthesiology for his residency. He has decided to return to Ochsner after almost 12 years of private practice to dedicate his service to the care of patients in his community and share his professional experience in the teaching of the next generation of anesthesiologists.
