Dr. Pummer received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following this he completed his internship at the Community Hospital of Lancaster in Lancaster, PA and his residency at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lititz, PA. Dr. Pummer is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2020 and practicing medicine since 2005. Dr. Pummer's special interests include wound care, adult onset diabetes, pediatric cystic fibrosis and lymphedema.
