Kristen received a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia degree from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to attending graduate school Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.. She obtained experience as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, a regional level trauma center, for three years. Kristen is also an active member in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
