Wendy received her RN degree from St. Lukes School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science from Coa College in Iowa. Wendy worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 5 years. She studied Midwifery at the University of Minnesota and has been a Certified Nurse Midwife for the last 30 years. In Minnesota and Louisiana, she practiced in the clinical, hospital and university settings. Wendy has birthing experience in free standing and hospital birth centers. She volunteered her services to several women in the inner city of New Orleans. She joined the Ochsner team in 2018.
