Cheryl Krewsky graduated from Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, Conneticut in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She spent 21 years working as a registered nurse in varied positions while her husband persued his military career in the coast guard. She has experience in the acute care hospital setting, acute care inpatient rehabilitation, long term skilled nursing, hospice home health, forensic health, case management, and diabetes education. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2006 with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing and is board certified as a familky nurse practioner by the ANCC. She has practiced as a primary care provider for 11 years adb durring 3 of those years owened her own family practice, before starting worl with Ochsner Health Center in Slidell. Cheryl earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Southeastern Louisiana University in May 2016. She completed a doctorate research project on the care of patients with type 2 diabetes. Cheryl enjoys the challenge of meeting the needs of patients of all ages in today's complex healthcare enviroment. She has been living in Slidell with her family for 20 years, and in her leisure time enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and membership in a local Mardi Gras Krewe.
