Dr. Melissa Jordan received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation here in New Orleans. During her final year of training, she received the Outstanding Laparoscopic Resident Award. She practices a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care with special interests in adolescent gynecology, preconception counseling and fertility, obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Jordan's goal is to provide a caring and compassionate environment so that every visit is a comfortable experience. Her belief is that teaching her patients about their health allows them to make informed decisions about their care. She strives to develop lifelong relationships with her patients in order to serve them throughout various stages of their lives.
