Dr. Laura Schwartz attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia for her undergraduate education, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She went on to complete her medical training at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where she earned her Doctor of Optometry certification. Dr. Schwartz performed a residency in pediatric optometry and vision therapy and rehabilitation at Northwest Eye Care Professionals in Clackamas, Oregon. She joined Ochsner Health in 2019.
